About Yumitos

Yumitos is where friends decide where and what to eat together.

The problem we are working on

Picking a place with other people is harder than it should be. One person cannot eat gluten, another is vegetarian, someone already went to the spot everyone else wants, and the group chat goes quiet. Yumitos is built around that moment.

Everything in the app is there to help a group land on a place, and an order, faster than they would on their own.

What the app does

  • A feed where people share what they are eating and where, so the places you hear about come from people you follow.
  • Routes: a few places strung into a plan you can save and share.
  • Outings: a group picks a place together, votes on it, and on the day can share live location with each other if they choose to.
  • Ordering from local vendors, in the markets where ordering is open.

Yumi

Yumi is our search. Ask it a plain question, like dinner Friday with my family somewhere quiet, and it answers using who is coming, what they cannot eat, and what they like. Allergies and dietary needs are hard limits: a place that fails one does not show up. Every result comes with the reason it made the list, and there are no scores.

Where Yumitos works

Ordering and payments are available in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. In other places where the app is offered, including elsewhere in Latin America, Yumitos is for discovery, routes, and the social features. No purchases can be made there.

Who builds it

Yumitos is built and operated by Yumitos Corporation, a Delaware corporation. When you order through the app, the order is with Yumitos and your payment is processed by Stripe.
